The course will teach you the lifesaving skills you will need in the event that someone suffers a cardiac, breathing or other emergency requiring first aid prior to the arrival of advanced medical personnel.
It includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques (CPR) and use of the automated external defibrillator devices (AED).
This course is designed for security guards and other non-medical personnel who may be required to respond to medical emergencies as part of the responsibilities of their job. It will teach you the lifesaving skills you will need in the event that someone suffers a cardiac, breathing or other emergency requiring first aid prior to the arrival of advanced medical personnel. It includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques (CPR) and use of the automated external defibrillator devices (AED). The class runs five hours and its successful completion will result in Red Cross certification
